Business Analyst Remote
Job description
.We are looking for an experienced job title to undertake the role of Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst you will be an integral part of our technical delivery teams. You will report to a principle Developer and work closely with them and one or more scrum tribes.
The role
The key responsibilities are:
· analysing and understand a business problem or opportunity
· undertaking research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data and technology
· identifying areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change and define success measures
· identifying and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development and testing of services and business change
· advising on prioritisation and minimum viable product by using analysis led insights
· ensuring new products and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organisational goals
· understanding any business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications
This is a Remote role and there will be travel required to our client sites and APG offices in Harlow, Leeds and Derbyshire.

You can co-ordinate and review the prioritisation of requirements, ensuring the solution works for key stakeholders and is within operational, budgetary, technical and regulatory considerations. You can assess the context of the work and apply appropriate methods (such as Agile or plan-driven) for managing the requirements life cycle. You can create and maintain documents to record the method used and support knowledge transfer and reuse.
· Stakeholder relationship management: You can identify, analyse, manage and monitor relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders. · Testing: You can support the testing of a technical solution to ensure it meets business and user needs, focusing on functionality and usability of software throughout the systems development life cycle.
· User experience analysis: You can understand the importance of user experience and accessibility requirements. You can use user research to inform decision making and apply design principles to ensure the user interface is intuitive. You can be involved in the analysis, validation and prioritisation of user needs and understand how needs tie to system, product or service requirements. You can balance user needs against business priorities.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:
· Proven experience in cultivating and leveraging strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, building and maintaining mutual trust
· Experience in using a range of delivery methodologies, including but not exclusively scrum and Kanban
· Experience in delivering change in a Business Analyst or equivalent role
· Deep understanding of writing user stories and communicating requirements with implementation teams
· Experience in process mapping
· Knowledge of road mapping techniques and experience of relevant software used for managing roadmaps
· Experience working within dedicated scrum teams
· Experience of working directly with multi-disciplinary development/implementation teams
· Exposure to service design and blueprints
· Exposure to wireframing and UX processes
· Ability to balance multiple priorities incoming from different sources and effectively dealing with ambiguity
