Warwick District Council is situated in the southern part of the West Midlands in the historic town of Leamington Spa. The Council, with our own housing stock and garages sites of over 7.500 mixed tenancies to manage plus private landlord services has a vibrant housing services department and is a busy place to work.
We are recruiting an assistant to join the Business Administration Team. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is self-motivated while working from home or the office. Gets job satisfaction from being responsive to the needs of our customers and is excited to be part of the team that provide vital, life-changing housing services.
It is essential that you are enthusiastic about and have experience of providing excellent customer service, you enjoy working with numbers, have attention to detail and have an ability to learn multiple financial and processing systems quickly.
Experience of working in a similar field would be an advantage when dealing with the varied and sometimes complex enquiries from residents and stakeholders about their accounts, invoices, payment queries or advice about buying a council property.
The intention is for the postholder to work from home. However, office and hybrid working is also available. Whilst home working is offered for this role, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be available to attend meetings at our offices within Warwick District when required. Any costs for travel from home to the office will be met by the successful candidate.
