Job Advertisement: Packer/Van Driver
Location: Somercotes, United Kingdom Salary: £10.87 per hour Hours: Monday to Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. / Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Recruit 2 You, on behalf of our client, a leading producer of precision woven wire meshes, is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join their team as a Packer/Van Driver on a temporary to permanent contract. Responsibilities:
Efficiently pack the precision woven wire meshes in accordance with company guidelines and standards.
Load and unload the wire meshes into company vehicles with care and precision.
Safely operate a company van for the transportation of the wire meshes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area and the company vehicle.
Requirements:
Valid driving license (preferably category B) with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in packing or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good physical fitness, as the role involves lifting and moving heavy items.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
A positive attitude and willingness to work effectively as part of a team.
Reliability and punctuality.
