Job description
- Be your own boss! We are looking for short and long-haul couriers with valid driver's licenses. Your job will be to safely recover packages from our client locations and drive them to a scheduled destination, over intercity routes, in a timely manner. This is a contract opportunity, consistent daily assignments are not guaranteed.
Responsibilities:
- Transport shipment in a time-effective manner.
- Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.
- Keep proper logs at pickup from delivery locations and drop-offs, following all company, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain reliable transportation.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
- Adhere to assignment guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as brand advocate.
- If you do not own a cargo van, one can be provided.
Requirements:
- Background check required
- MUST HAVE A VALID LICENSE
- MUST HAVE VALID CAR INSURANCE
- 1 year experience in driving commercially - preferred but not mandatory.
- High school diploma.
- Ability to travel with regularity.
- Professional appearance, clean clothing, proper attire.
- No DUI.
- Must be able to use technology
- Must be able to complete self-guided enrollment
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
