LONG DISTANCE VAN DRIVER/WAREHOUSE PERSON
Job Description:
Driving Mercedes vans for long distances and for local deliveries, deliveries to vessels nationwide and general warehouse work.
You will be asked to work weekends and long hours as and when, and if required; concessionary payments are awarded for this.
You could be asked to stay overnight for a delivery, as and when required; a night out allowance is paid for this.
A flexible attitude and a willingness to do different tasks, such as warehouse work, cleaning vans etc.is essential
Must be able to work on own initiative and also as part of a small team.
Short notice call outs could be required.
Heavy lifting can be involved.
C1E entitlement on your licence is a mandatory requirement for this position.
If you have this category there will be a date in column 10 and a date in column 11.
This category is on your plastic licence and shows a van pulling a trailer.
Trailer experience would be an advantage.
ADR licence would be an advantage
Tachograph experience would be an advantage
Drivers CPC would be an advantage.
Forklift experience would be an advantage.
Ships delivery experience would be an advantage.
Own transport to get to and from work essential.
£480.00 basic salary per week before tax and NIC.
Plus extra bonuses possible, to be discussed at interview.
A performance bonus of £150.00 per month before tax and NIC could also be paid.
40 hours + per week

Salary: £24,960.00-£27,500.00 per year
