About the role
A stylist’s job isn’t just about helping a customer choose her dream dress, it is about continuing the service behind the scenes once they have left the store. During appointments, your role will be to greet your customer and make her feel instantly welcomed and at ease with us, you will give them a brief introduction to the layout of our store and our products. You will then carry out the appointment where you will dress the customer, talk her through the dresses she is trying, hold conversations with her and make her feel amazing. You will listen to her needs and wants and take notice of emotional cues. Your key aim is to guide your customer towards finding her dream dress and creating a sale for the store in a un-pressurised manor. Much of the role of a stylist also happens away from appointments, where you will be required to take delivery of stock dresses and prepare them to go onto our shop floor and have the ability to keep on top of paperwork. You will also need to prep dresses before the event, to ensure they are fully steamed and in pristine condition ready for when the your customer collects her gown. You will be required to use our online diary system so a basic knowledge of computers is essential. You will deal with customers not only in person, but via the phone too, so a professional and friendly telephone manor is essential. As part of our stylist team, this work will be shared out between you all so you will have constant support.
Our gowns can be heavy & will be on your feet quite a lot of the time—please be aware of this before submitting your application.
