Job description

This position will introduce you to the House Building industry and allow you to gain hands-on experience of working on a live site. This program will provided you with the basis to build a great life long career within the Construction Industry


You will report to the onsite Management team at the South Molton site. You will be working closely with the onsite team of Bricklayers to carry out all aspects of the bricklaying trade.

This will include, but is not limited to:

Preparation of Materials

Safe working practices

Cleaning of areas and tools

Storage and moving of materials

Constructing masonry structures

Interpreting drawings and specifications

Setting out Prompt arrival on site

Dedication to college and site work

Work as a team and individually

Be proactive

Maintain high standards of quality

Ensure site rules are followed

Work safely at all times


  • Mixing mortar.
  • Checking measurements.
  • Laying brick and blocks.
  • Loading out materials.
