Looking for detail oriented, high energy, friendly personalities to fulfill an extremely important role in our family bakery! We are introducing a coffee program into our store and need an experience breakfast pastry chef to join our team.
BREAKFAST PASTRY CHEF & CAKE BAKER
This position requires at least 3 year experience in a kitchen working with breakfast pastries, and has a strong emotional personality and high tolerance for stress.
You will be responsible for helping design our entire breakfast pastry menu so you must have 3+ years experience working with common breakfast pastries like croissants, danishes, etc.
Our new hire will also be responsible for learning our entire cake baking process top to bottom to assist our head baker, as well as creating our new breakfast pastry menu. You will learn every step to take in baking custom cakes, cupcakes, and dessert pastries.
SKILLS: 3+ years baking breakfast pastries & cakes. Excellent communication, neat and organized tendencies, time management, ability to accept criticism and use it constructively. Must be able to life 50+ lb.
WAGE: starts at $20+ depending on experience; 3+ years working with breakfast pastries is required
HOURS:
Flexible - will depend on our current baker's schedule and the demand for breakfast pastries once we introduce our new coffee program. We can work with you to create a flexible schedule.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
