Guests can sample the authentic Singaporean, Malaysian and Chinese cuisine at Bugis Street, traditional pub fare at the Brasserie Restaurant & Bar or relax in our tea lounge..Our work environment includes:Modern office settingFood providedGrowth opportunitiesWellness programmesBreakfast Chef key responsibilities:Organize the shift on the section with regard to mise-en-place production and it’s serviceEnsure all Breakfast items are cooked to the required standard and to the correct numbers given the occupancy.To be responsible for completing the daily check list regarding mise-en-place and food storage and daily fridge checkTo minimise wastage ensuring correct stock rotation and stock levels in fridges, dry store room and cupboardsEnsure, along with the Sous Chefs, that there are the food stocks and dry stores produce to meet the requirements of the sectionsTo report any problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment to the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs and follow up and ensure the necessary work has been carried outBreakfast Chef requirement1 – 2 years of experience as a Breakfast ChefExcellent organisational skillsHigh level of attentionJob Types: Permanent, Part-time, Full-timePart-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: £12.00-£13.00 per hourBenefits:FlexitimeSchedule:FlexitimeMonday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeCommission payPerformance bonusTipsYearly bonusAbility to commute/relocate:London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Experience:Chef: 1 year (preferred)Cooking: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In person
