Hambleton Hall - Breakfast Chef
We are looking for a talented and experienced Breakfast Chef to join our team at Hambleton Hall. We are a Michelin star restaurant and hotel, based in the beautiful county of Rutland, renowned for the quality of our food and our service.
Here at Hambleton Hall, we are proud to have retained our Michelin star for over 40 years, all due to our amazing team of Chef’s led by Aaron Patterson, our executive Chef Director.
The team focus on creating dishes from the best quality, locally sourced ingredients and are committed to providing our guests with an experience to remember and the reason they keep coming back for more!
To be successful in our kitchen, you will need the following skills:
- You will be passionate about food, creative and with attention to presentation and style.
- Ensuring our high standards of quality and consistency are achieved every time.
- Support the development and training of junior team members.
- Ensure any skilled prep work requested after breakfast is finished is completed as required each day
- Ensure that work is conducted in a clean and tidy way as well as ensuring legislative and government guidelines are adhered to including the Food Safety Act, Health & Safety at Work Act, COSHH and Fire Regulations (up to date training is provided).
- Have at least 2 years’ experience of working at a similar level.
- You will need your own transport to get to the hotel, or we may have staff accommodation available if required.
You will be a team player, able to deal with the pressure of working in a very busy kitchen and strive for quality and perfection in every single dish. You will encourage the junior members of the team in their training and development and be able to demonstrate initiative, flair and possess excellent customer service skills.
