Brand Marketing Assistant –George Home and General Merchandise

We are on the lookout for an ambitious Brand Marketing Assistant to support across our George Home and General Merchandise business. This is an exciting, high profile area of the business which would suit somebody who loves the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced marketing team. The breadth of the categories presents a varied & challenging opportunity for the right candidate.

Your Role:

As Brand Marketing Assistant, you'll work alongside the Brand Marketing Manager and

Brand Specialist, to support in the creation and execution of all marketing communications for your categories. You will partner with multiple stakeholders including trading, activity planning and key channel owners to ensure we deliver compelling campaigns that create real impact.

Job Profile

As the Brand Marketing Assistant, you will support on:

• Working with trading to collate product nominations to feature in marketing communications
• Organising samples for photography shoots, influencers and PR days
• Management of instore POS requirements
• Project co-ordination of walkarounds, showcases, PR shows and conferences
• Coordination of trader sign off on all creative including product and price
• Supporting on budget management
• Completing competitor reviews for all key activity as required

• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Great interpersonal and team working skills with the ability to work well cross functionally and communicate confidently at all levels
• Able to work on your own initiative
• Computer literature and confident using PowerPoint and Excel
