About the Role:
TALA has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, we have matured into a DTC eCommerce business with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy across multiple digital channels. At just 4 years old, we’re trading on impressive numbers and doing 2X LY. Reporting into the Brand Marketing Manager for now, you will contribute significantly by supporting the entire brand team as we deliver a constant flow of campaigns. From photoshoot planning through to sample organisation, you will be responsible for all activities related to the brand day to day content creation needs. As such, you will be part of a powerhouse of creative minds, with Mondays and Fridays remote, and Tuesdays through Thursdays at our Vauxhall, London office.
Tasks
Day to day this looks like:
- Sample organisation: Owning our sample inventory from order to deliver to shoots to post-shoot triage. This includes working with the Assistant Buyer to track all upcoming samples, communicating dates to the brand team. Once the samples have arrived, you ensure they’re organised and delivered to shoots along with styling pieces and props. Following shoots, you’ll be in charge of inventory, including returns to warehouse and storage for future shoots.
- Photoshoot planning: Planning and executing all administrative tasks for bi-weekly photoshoots; you will be responsible for the logistical success of shoots. This includes, but is not limited to, talent bookings, location scouting, contracts, invoices and travel. You may be required to be on set from time to time, however this is an office-based role to ensure that the next shoot is always ready.
- Digital Asset Organisation: Leading on bi-weekly website reviews to ensure content is always up to date, sourcing needed content from across the team and communicating updates to the website manager. This includes organising assets to ensure they are readily available, and updating internal documents without prompting.
- Marketing support: You will provide ad hoc support for the brand team across a wide variety of functions. From socials content, to copywriting, asset editing and more, you will have an opportunity to learn and try your hand at many disciplines, and will be up for whatever comes your way.
You should:
- Have meaningful experience in a role where organisational skills and planning have been keys to success. Maybe you’ve done PA or events work. You’ll need to provide examples of why you’d be perfect for this role.
- Be hungry to work hard and get things organised - no degree necessary, but demonstrable examples of how you know how to accomplish projects are key.
- Know how to use Excel - and you can tell us about any other project management tools you like to use.
- Have a think-ahead, solution-oriented mentality. No task is too small, and attention to detail is a must.
- Have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
