Job Details
The Bookkeeper plays a key role in HVE’s overall success by being a key member of our Finance Team. A successful candidate would enjoy working closely with Medical Professionals and their colleagues.
The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for the company, ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. Candidates with strong mathematical and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills and proficiency in computer software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Word and Excel can be a good fit for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Process invoicing
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and other stakeholders as needed
- Handle other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- A post-secondary degree in accounting, or finance.
- 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reports to: Team Lead Finance and/or Senior Finance Manager
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm (Flexible work hours required as determined by Manager)
