Job description
Contribute to the provision of specialist nursing (School Nursing) to the population of Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board and have continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs and the delivery and evaluation of skilled professional interventions providing a family centred public health service.
The bank worker will have responsibility for a defined area of children, families and communities, within an identified group of schools in a locality area within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB).
- Have responsibility for identified schools.
- Work in partnership with members of the primary health care team and voluntary and statutory organisations.
- Participate in the delivery of evidence based care.
- Ensuring consistency in the quality of care provided.
- To increase the knowledge and skills of parents enabling them to identify and empowering them to appropriately meet the needs of their children and young people
- To support the team leader in delivering services to a defined area within a locality
