Job description
A proactive PR & Marketing Team is pivotal in driving the success and growth of any law firm and this is especially so for Thrings. The role of Marketing Assistant will be integral to the team and to the firm. From day one you will have the opportunity to make a huge contribution.
Thrings is a Top 200 law firm with offices in London, Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Romsey, and The Wye Valley. We have an exciting opening for a Marketing Assistant with a passion to work and support the team who deliver all elements of the marketing mix. This means that you will get the exposure to learn and develop from the experts who support our Firm, supporting you for a long-term career in Marketing.
The successful candidate will work on a series of internal and external marketing activities; including supporting events, delivering marketing campaigns, undertaking market research & analysing the interaction from our marketing campaigns to name just a few. You will get the opportunity to support our Head of Marketing to have a real impact from day one. When you are in the role, you will get to build relationships with external partners we engage with, including web developers, photographers and printers; making sure that we receive the services we need in the timeframes we require them.
Ideally you will already have some Marketing experience to draw on, either from paid or volunteering work, but what we really want is someone with a passion to make a difference and to think creatively. The Marketing team works collaboratively across the firm, in every office and with every practice area; someone who is a team player, personable, organised, efficient and who takes pride in their work will fit in well in this role at Thrings. If you’ve got experience of running projects and working to tight deadlines, we think you could be just the person we’re looking for.
We’re working in a hybrid way and envisage that will continue; ideally you will be based in one of our South West offices, with a mix of working from the office and home each week, from time-to-time, there will be the need to travel to other offices. We’d like someone who is able to work full time hours due to the nature of this role but there is a degree of flexibility on this. In return, you can expect a variety of benefits that can be tailored to you and your personal circumstances; these include Private Medical cover, Health checks, Dental Insurance, Travel Insurance and much more.
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
