Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks to support the financial operations of our organization. Your role will involve managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and generating reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for numbers, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.
Key Responsibilities:
· ·Accurate data entry of all invoices and sales receipts on Xero and Dext to bank reconciliation stage
· Assistance with and preparation of payroll for the venue staff
· ·Assistance with customer order processing / invoicing and ‘cash ups'
· Using both Excel and in-house IT Systems to help with reporting to colleagues
· Highly organised and attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organisational/time management
· Assist in producing a list of all suppliers that are due to be paid
· Filing of all invoices / purchases
· Assist in VAT return preparation with the CFO
· Assist in cash flow management with the CFO
· Assisting colleagues wherever required
You will be experienced in the above but need not be qualified - but AAT level qualifications will be revised, and support will be provided for those seeking to study further.
Salary - range £45-£50k per annum to recognise we are seeking an exceptional candidate.
