Since 2004, we have endeavored to establish ourselves as the premiere landscape contractor in the commercial industry in Kelowna.
Now in our 19th year in business, we are expanding our residential division and also renovation division, to better serve the needs of families in the Okanagan.
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with bookkeeping software. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Process invoices, payments, and other transactions.
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare month-end close procedures.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring of budget performance.
- Assist with audits, tax returns, and other financial reports.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
