Role: Bodyshop Manager
Location: Leighton Buzzard, LU7 4TE
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £55,000 OTE
(£45,000 per year + bonus scheme that provides an on target annual earnings of £55,000 + company car and Private Medical Insurance)
CarShop (part of the Sytner group) is the UK’s largest omnichannel car supermarket. We are the spreaders of good carma in the automotive world and provide a world class customer experience.
This really is a unique role within the industry, our purpose is to solely prepare vehicles for sale for our 13 locations across the country, so there is no requirement to deal with Insurance companies, assessors or members of the public. It is all about repairing cars to a good standard in an efficient way and developing your team. Really, it’s all the “good bits” of running a Bodyshop. What Skills & Experience do you need?
- Experience in managing a large Bodyshop team
- Hands-on experience in body repair methods
- Good understanding of all H&S aspects of operating a Bodyshop
- A good eye for detail, and the ability to accurately assess the finished repair standard
- Experience in reviewing the performance of Bodyshop Technicians
- Ability to identify and agree the best repair methods for each vehicle
- Experience in developing and supporting a team with a wide range of ability levels
- Experience in implementing a training program, working with our suppliers to keep the team up to date with the latest products and repair methods
