We are an aspiring organisation and we are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our team responsible for driving vehicle quality within the market. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overview;
The person will be expected primarily to manage new EV model platform parts development, both BIW and trim.
Key responsibilities to include:
Manage suppliers and work closely with colleagues in; Design, Evaluation and
Manufacturing departments globally for metal and trim products.
Regular liaison with colleagues in Sunderland, Japan, Spain & France
Ensure parts under their control meet quality, cost and delivery targets
Management of production lines and production operations in line with expectations
Ensure “on-time” release of D/NOTE, TCF, Q-BASE, etc.
Report to Senior Engineer and Project Management team
Cost creation reports and cost monitoring
Desired backgrounds;
Degree educated but not essential.
Experience of BIW/Body Engineering/Interior trim parts/Underbody trim parts
Mass production experience
Experience of Pressing and Plastic Injection Moulded parts.
Project Management/Project Engineer appreciation.
Design Engineer or Process Engineering backgrounds will be suited.
