Biomedical Scientist

Up to £38,750 depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Guildford hospital, you’ll bring the relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in biomedical science especially in Microbiology. You should have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You should also be a natural communicator and team player, and you should share our idea of quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
Deliver high-quality pathology services
Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call and weekend service
Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control
Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.
