Are you passionate about working on current and emerging bioprocess technologies with industry leaders in developing innovative therapeutics solutions?

The Bio-Process Development Scientist (Bioprocess Specialist) is responsible for providing filtration solutions to manufacturing challenges and striving to specify Cytiva technologies into biopharmaceutical drug manufacturer’s early-stage development processes. You’ll be part of a dynamic cross-functional and cross-regional team.

This position will be located remotely in UK.

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage in technical consultations with customers on downstream filtration processing where you propose Cytiva solutions and support scale-up testing and implementation.

  • Coordinate, perform and report-out on bench scale test work at customers to evaluate and/or demonstrate Cytiva technologies for specification in biopharmaceutical processes.

  • Work in close relationship with filtration sales specialists, technology specialists and scientists to coordinate activities and continuously improve processes and results.

  • Increase sales by working with marketing to track and report progress metrics in drug development pipelines.

  • Serve as a technical specialist with in-depth knowledge of Cytiva products and downstream processing and develop expertise by regular exchange of experiences and trainings.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Chemical or Biological, or Engineering or related field required. MSc or PhD preferred.

  • 2 plus years of relevant experience, preferably in biotech industry.

  • Current valid driver’s license.

  • Willing to travel regionally (approximately 50%) with occasional travel outside assigned territory.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Unit operations and practices relevant to Biotech customers and Downstream Processes preferred.
