We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wet Lab Data Generation Scientist to join our dynamic research team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in generating large amounts of TCR-antigen data through molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and cloning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, excellent laboratory management skills, and experience in high-throughput screening or automation.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct wet lab experiments for data generation, focusing on TCR-antigen interactions.
- Perform molecular biology techniques, such as PCR, sequencing, and cloning, with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize high-throughput screening or automation methods to optimize data generation processes.
- Run BEAM-T assays, flow cytometry, yeast display, and cell culture experiments.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental protocols, data, and results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and propose solutions to improve data quality and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements and techniques in molecular biology and data generation.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Train and mentor junior team members in wet lab techniques and experimental procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong background in molecular biology techniques, including PCR, sequencing, and cloning.
- Proficiency in high-throughput screening or automation methods is highly desirable.
- Experience with BEAM-T assays, flow cytometry, yeast display, and cell culture is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in wet lab environments and laboratory management.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot experimental issues.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in experimental procedures and data recording.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic research environment.
Note: The focus of this position is on the engineering mindset, and candidates with a strong inclination towards ing engineering principles in biology will be given preference.
