Job description
Pearson Carter are working with a leading Microsoft Gold Partner client who specialize in providing innovative digital transformation solutions to their trusted clients.
They are looking for a Big Data Architect with a strong analytical background & solid experience with Big Data Frameworks & Infrastructures to join the Data Science & Engineering team & assist with the development of client conceptual & logical data systems with a focus on AI technology.
Responsibilities:
- Select and integrate any Big Data tools and frameworks
- Implement data ingestion and transformation process
- Architect data engineering and visualization solutions
- Supervise the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions
- Monitor performance and advise necessary infrastructure changes
- Prepare database design and architecture reports
- Define data retention policies
- Test, troubleshoot, and integrate new features
Skills:
- At least 10+ years of experience in Big Data/Analytics
- Knowledge of enterprise BI and analytics
- Experience in Hadoop and other industry Big Data frameworks
- Understanding of industry-vertical application
- Knowledge of underlying infrastructure for Big Data Solutions
- Expertise in large distributed Big Data Application deployment
- Experience in designing, building, and operating cloud services
Salary
They offer a base salary of up to £130,000 depending on experience.

This role is remote but the client would like you to travel to their offices in Limerick monthly.
