Job description
We’re relentless optimists who fundamentally believe that things can always be better. That’s our starting point.
Neptune doesn’t just follow a ‘well-trodden’ path. From brave beginnings in a dusty Wiltshire barn, we’re now pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for a furniture, kitchens and lifestyle business. It’s become quite an operation now as we design, manufacture, wholesale, franchise and retail across Europe and Asia, with around 700 people on board.
As a Business Intelligence Lead you’ll plan, coordinate and supervise all aspects of our design, development and implementation of our reporting and analysis. And in particular:
· Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence systems using technologies such as SQL Server, SSIS and Power BI
· Developing and maintaining data models and ETL processes to support our reporting and analytics
· Collaborating with various departments to understand their data requirements and develop reports and dashboards they require
· Working closely with members of the Finance and IT team to integrate business intelligence systems with other systems and applications
· Providing technical leadership and guidance to the team
You’ll partner with exceptional people here; as key stakeholders, they’re genuine subject matter experts in their fields. From finance and IT to manufacturing, distribution and retail.
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of data analysis tools including; Power BI, MS Excel and SQL. You’ll have the ability to extract insight from data analysis and have thorough experience understanding reporting and business intelligence best practices.
For us, you’ll be an intelligent, articulate, well-disciplined and goal-oriented individual who can balance the task in hand and above all, have oodles of enthusiasm for learning, both technology and business processes.
We’ll offer you a competitive salary, some super benefits, a truly stunning work environment and most importantly, room to grow a genuinely long-term career with us. Many of us have been here a long time now and we’d love to think you will be too.
Across all locations, we stay united by our company values: Do The Right Thing, Do It Together, Aim High and Keep It Real.
What Benefits we can offer you
At Neptune, we value our employees for always going above and beyond; we reward them by offering more than just a competitive salary:
