Business Intelligence Developer
The Client
One of the world’s leading industrial manufacturers with a presence in multiple sectors – Energy Production, Pharmaceuticals, Food Production, Shipping and Chemical Production – our client is a market leader with a track record of growth and acquisitions resulting in an impressive global footprint.
The business is going through an exciting period of change and growth, building on their existing market success. They have adopted a new ERP System – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O - which is currently being installed and integrated across 50+ sites around the world. It will be used daily by over 3000 employees. As this process is rolled out region by region, we are seeking several MS Dynamics Specialists who can support what is considered one of the most challenging and large-scale ERP Integration projects in history!
The Objective
The Business Intelligence Developer will play a critical role within the BI team to support and contribute to the data platform within the business, assisting with the overall improvement of best working practice. On offer is the chance to play an instrumental part within the Development team and to work on extremely varied projects.
The Opportunity
You will report to the Development Lead and work amongst a tight knit Development Team to deliver against a challenging growth+ Strategy.
You will design and deliver numerous BI services like ETLs, databases and PowerBI models and reports which are key for the effective delivery of the BI team's function. You will also maintain and enhance documentation and service reports to encourage the on-going improvement of processes as part of the team.
The ideal candidate will be big on data and thrive with thinking analytically on datasets; you will be adaptable to issues and deadlines whilst having great organisational and communication skills.
Experience Requirements
Experience with Power BI report development
Familiarity with Power BI realise pipelines and security models
Confident with the creation of documentation for completed work
The Successful Candidate
Is self-motivated with good time management skills
Has excellent listening, written and spoken communication skills
Is able to resolve problems with a strong focus on attention to detail
