As a member of our Software Engineering Group you are expected to hit the ground running on day one. You will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating quality software applications. You’ll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what’s being developed. You are expected to come in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you’ll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists.

Technical Writer
Long-term Contract
Only Canadian Citizens

3 to 5 years of experience developing software documentation, including help systems, user guides, and integration documents.
Solid writing and research skills.
Strong experience in Technical Content writing, with a strong portfolio of work showcasing your ability to write engaging and informative content
Demonstrated ability to write about complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in technical content
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of technical writing best practices and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,333.99-$102,354.71 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • technical writing: 8 years (preferred)
