ASC Practitioner: ADOS/ADI-R/3DI Trained Assessor (full-time)
£55,000- £60,000 per annum
ProblemShared is a clinician-led, CQC-regulated online mental health provider, working with a community of expert practitioners to broaden access to the highest quality care for people across the UK. We offer NICE-informed neurodevelopmental (ND) assessments for adults and children, and our hand-picked practitioners conduct robust ADHD and ASD assessments over a private, encrypted video service.
Many of our current team have led NHS ND practices in the past and have, over the past 18 months, amassed significant experience both authoring protocols and carrying out remote assessment, diagnosis and post-diagnostic support for those in need.
We pride ourselves on being different by placing at our very core the philosophy that partnership leads to agency and that agency leads to better outcomes.
The role:
The role involves providing remote ASC assessments as part of a team of two clinicians. One practitioner delivers the ADOS-informed assessment while the other undertakes the ADI-R. Ability to undertake both ADOS and ADI-R is desired. MDTs are held when required with Team Leads and, where warranted, with input from our psychiatry colleagues.
Details:
- Provide gold-standard ASC assessments for adults and young people, considering broad differential diagnoses and frequently co-occurring conditions
- Formulate and complete detailed and client-centred reports
- Actively participate in service improvement to maintain best-in-class clinical practice
- Participate in the training of staff members and personal development
- Strive for smarter and better client care
How we work:
- ProblemShared is a remote business, and we have no central office. As a result, the team all work from home (or other suitable locations) so you will need to be comfortable with this as a working environment and have reliable internet connection. You will be using our secure, encrypted, NHS-approved video conferencing platform. We do get together for off-sites and meetings, so there is the possibility of in person meets. We embrace difference and individuality and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
Benefits:
- Highly competitive salary, pension and other benefits including private health insurance, an IT equipment budget and company away-days
- 30 days annual leave plus public holidays
- Access to training opportunities to support your personal clinical development
- The opportunity to innovate and shape the delivery of best care
- Learn from and contribute to our ever-growing, dynamic and highly engaged community of mental health professionals
