Friends Indeed are looking for mature, 'BIG-hearted' people who can offer just a few hours each week (you choose the hours you want to work - 4, 6, 10?) to enable older people to continue to enjoy life in their own homes. Only ladies and gents with life experience and a positive, 'unflappable', practical approach join our team of caring, supportive companions and home helps.
The role does not involve you doing any personal care, and there are no uniforms worn.
To apply you must be fully up-to-date with your COVID vaccinations and happy to wear PPE, if necessary, when with clients.
You MUST be willing to do the following…
- Companionship & chats over a cuppa
- Shopping & a few errands
- Help around the home, light cleaning & housekeeping.
- Laundry & change bedding.
- Cooking simple meals.
- Taking clients to appointments and 'out & about'
Also, you might be able to offer…
- Support with reading, games, hobbies & interests
- Simple gardening or very basic DIY
- Help with pet care & dog walking
- Basic help with iPads & computers
- Respite/sitting for family carers
- Basic Dementia support
You will need a full driving license & your own clean, reliable car. Also, you must own a reliable smart phone.

Pay rate: £11.80 ph Mon-Fri and £13.50ph Sat-Sun
