Restaurant Bartender


Job Summary:

We are in search of a talented and personable Restaurant Bartender to join our esteemed team. Key Responsibilities:


1. Beverage Preparation: Create and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to our restaurant's signature recipes and maintaining high quality standards.


2. Guest Interaction: Welcome patrons warmly, take their drink orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences and meal choices. Deliver attentive and friendly service throughout their dining experience.


3. Mixology Expertise: Showcase your extensive knowledge of mixology, demonstrating various drink-making techniques, garnishes, and presentation styles. Craft visually appealing and delectable drinks that align with the restaurant's identity.


4. Order Management: Efficiently handle drink orders, coordinating with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure prompt beverage delivery to guests' tables.


5. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and well-organized bar area, regularly sanitizing glassware, bar tools, and surfaces. Adhere to all hygiene and safety standards.


6. Upselling and Recommendations: Identify opportunities to upsell premium beverages and provide personalized drink recommendations to elevate guests' dining experiences.


7. Cash Handling: Accurately process payments using our restaurant's POS system and handle cash transactions responsibly, following established protocols.


8. Inventory Control: Monitor and manage beverage inventory levels, including liquors, wines, mixers, and garnishes. Collaborate with the management team to reorder supplies as necessary.


9. Collaborative Teamwork: Foster a close working relationship with the restaurant's staff, including servers, chefs, and management, to ensure seamless service and cultivate a positive and unified dining ambiance.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Bartender in a reputable restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of various beverages, drink recipes, and mixology techniques.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment and gracefully handle busy periods.
  • Attentiveness to detail in beverage preparation and presentation.
  • Familiarity with bar hygiene, safety practices, and responsible alcohol service.
  • Experience with cash handling and basic math skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
