A global life sciences company that brings diagnostic testing and drug development together and as a Laboratory Assistant you will play an essential part in making this happen.
Working in the Bioanalysis department based at Alconbury, Cambridgeshire the responsibilities include:
Maintaining and ordering adequate stocks of consumable items
Assist with specimen shipments
Assist with booking in and disposal of test items
Helping maintain laboratory records
General housekeeping to maintain cleanliness and tidiness of laboratory area

Education:
GCSE's including Science, English & Maths desirable
Experience:
Prior laboratory experience and awareness of laboratory techniques desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Good organisational skills and planning
A focus on quality with good attention to detail
The ability to work as a team and communicate well with a variety of different people
