NQ64 is a retro gaming bar concept with sites in Glasgow, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham,Edinburgh & more.
Our Glasgow site is looking for a Bartender to join our little team of grafters. The venue is at the heart of merchant square and is open 7pm - 3am daily.
We are drinking dens filled with retro arcade games and classic consoles, and an impressive drinks list of specially selected craft beers, themed cocktails and sodas, it’s a haven for both gaming buffs and those looking for an experience-led night out. NQ64 is a bar where classic console games and great cocktails find perfect harmony, boasting the finest games collections in the cities where they operate.
Founded in 2018, the business has gone from strength to strength, with plans to grow across the UK. The founders cut their hospitality teeth from the ground up in Manchester's quirkiest dive bars.

Your job role will include;
- Welcoming customers, making recommendations, and taking orders.
- Informing customers about specials and new drinks
- Informing customers about how to purchase tokens, how to play games, and the game selection available
- Reporting any games issues to management
- Serving drinks to customers as per company standards
- Ensuring that the bar is properly stocked
- Handling cash and card transactions
- Keeping your work area clean, taking out rubbish, cleaning equipment
- Monitoring intoxication levels of our guests, and refusing service in the correct manner
- Engaging with customers to provide a friendly and positive guest experience
- Making sure the bar area is safe, clean, and organized
- Preparing garnishes for beverages by cutting, or slicing fruit
- Validating the legal drinking age by checking identification
- Washing equipment, barware, and glasses after use.
- Prepping citrus juices for service
- Batching cocktails as per company standards
- Regular spec testing and pour testing

- Glasgow, G1 1NU: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
