BARISTA/BARTENDER

With the ability to contribute to a customer service-oriented environment, the Barista/Bartender excels at providing friendly, professional and efficient service to each of our customers.
WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs. Shifts will include working weekends.
LOCATIONS: 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC
TERM: Part-time Temporary
DEPARTMENT: Ground Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations
- Greet customers and answer general inquiries
- Prepare and serve a variety of customer beverage orders including specialty coffees and alcoholic drinks
- Prepare and serve a variety of light meals and snacks
- Ensure quality and freshness of products at all times
- Ensure bar is clean and organized
- Assist in ordering products and maintaining inventory levels
- Follow food safety, health and workplace safety standard
Qualifications/Assets
- Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- Must have Serving It Right certificate
- Food Safe certificate preferred
- Proven ability to be an effective member of a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including: evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge and experience with beverage preparation an asset
- Prior experience in travel/tourism and guest services an asset
- Multilingual an asset
