BARISTA/BARTENDER

With the ability to contribute to a customer service-oriented environment, the Barista/Bartender excels at providing friendly, professional and efficient service to each of our customers.

WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs. Shifts will include working weekends.
LOCATIONS: 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver, BC
TERM: Part-time Temporary
DEPARTMENT: Ground Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations

Greet customers and answer general inquiries
Prepare and serve a variety of customer beverage orders including specialty coffees and alcoholic drinks
Prepare and serve a variety of light meals and snacks
Ensure quality and freshness of products at all times
Ensure bar is clean and organized
Assist in ordering products and maintaining inventory levels
Follow food safety, health and workplace safety standard

Qualifications/Assets

Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level
Must be 19 years of age or older
Must have Serving It Right certificate
Food Safe certificate preferred
Proven ability to be an effective member of a team
Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible schedules including: evenings, weekends, and holidays
Knowledge and experience with beverage preparation an asset
Prior experience in travel/tourism and guest services an asset
Multilingual an asset
