Job description

We're excited to be launching a new cafe within a beautiful new hotel in Kensington. The role will perfectly suit a skilled barista looking to work in a fun, dynamic environment with speciality coffee. You'll be part of a wider food and beverage team that services a restaurant and bar as well as our day-time cafe.

WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?

You will be tasked with not only selling and preparing great coffee and snacks in our cafe, but acting as a brand ambassador and delivering consistent and exceptional hospitality experiences.

In this role your responsibilities will also include:

Preparation of outstanding coffee
Delivering genuine and efficient service to each and every customer
Running food and drinks
Operating efficient table maintenance and hospitality to dine in customers
Upkeeping our standards and always keeping the bar organised, stocked and clean
Completing stock takes
Supporting with the opening and closing of the cafe

WHAT DO I NEED?

The ideal candidate will be:

A knowledge and love of coffee with experience in a similar, fast paced role
Self-motivated and have a proactive approach
Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail
Willing to learn.
