Job description
We're excited to be launching a new cafe within a beautiful new hotel in Kensington. The role will perfectly suit a skilled barista looking to work in a fun, dynamic environment with speciality coffee. You'll be part of a wider food and beverage team that services a restaurant and bar as well as our day-time cafe.
WHAT ARE MY MAIN DUTIES?
You will be tasked with not only selling and preparing great coffee and snacks in our cafe, but acting as a brand ambassador and delivering consistent and exceptional hospitality experiences.
In this role your responsibilities will also include:
- Preparation of outstanding coffee
- Delivering genuine and efficient service to each and every customer
- Running food and drinks
- Operating efficient table maintenance and hospitality to dine in customers
- Upkeeping our standards and always keeping the bar organised, stocked and clean
- Completing stock takes
- Supporting with the opening and closing of the cafe
WHAT DO I NEED?
The ideal candidate will be:
- A knowledge and love of coffee with experience in a similar, fast paced role
- Self-motivated and have a proactive approach
- Highly organised with a meticulous attention to detail
- Willing to learn.
