Job description
Our bustling cafe is currently seeking an experienced Barista. The ideal candidate is a creative and motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. This position requires the ability to make a wide variety of beverages, including espresso and speciality coffees. Furthermore, a successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task in the face of high pressure, and be eager to learn new skills in order to ensure that our customers are always served quickly with consistently high quality coffee.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare beverages following recipes
- Serve beverages and our banging food
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
- Keep the bar area clean
- Maintain stock of clean mugs and plates
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
Skills required:
We pride ourselves with our team and we work very well together. You will need to be a great team player.
We are getting busier and busier so you need to be able to handle stress and pressure.
Ideally we would want you to have previous experience but we will provide training to the right candidate.
Please note 12h/week are the starting required hours. Over summertime we will increase the hours.
