Our menu is inspired by Neapolitan cuisine and the freshest market produce and the pizza is cooked in our Vesuvian rock wood-burning oven. The Bottega team works diligently to provide a warm and welcoming ambiance, providing guests with a memorable dining experience.
We are currently looking for a barback/barista.
The barback/barista is responsible for making coffees and assisting the bartender with making cocktails and other beverages. It involves knowing the drink menu, making coffees, preparing garnishes for the cocktails and ensure the drinkware is clean and available. The candidate has excellent communication skills, is engaging, knowledgeable and friendly.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare drink orders
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for the restaurant
- Prepare coffee
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Maintain a clean work and dining area
QUALITFICATIONS
- Excellent knowledge of making coffees
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to co-operate and work in a team
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual French and English
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
