Job description
Must love early morning! 5.30/6.30 starts.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in making coffee, tea, pastries and other hot and cold beverages, as well as cleaning work surfaces, equipment and utensils. Previous experience is required, with a special focus on attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an ability to lead by example.
Responsibilities:
- Make coffee or tea for customers.
- Serve pastries and other food items to customers.
- Greet customers and engage in friendly conversation.
- Listen for customer needs and respond appropriately.
- Follow standardized recipes and instructions.
- Serve beverages to customers on a timely basis.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar or café in which duties are performed.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations.
- Manage the flow of customers at the bar or café.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.50-£11.00 per hour
