As part of the shopping experience through Home Hardware Building Centre Lloydminster, Timber Café offers shoppers a comfortable space to relax and enjoy a range of food and beverages. From ice cream to full meals and specialty coffee. Timber’s menu keeps in mind the many dietary restrictions including dairy and gluten sensitivity offering a variety of delicious and healthy options. The offerings in the café focus heavily on seasonal flavors and using local products whenever possible.
Full Time Permanent Position - 40 hours a week

Role & Duties Description:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages.
- Serving hot and cold food to customers
- Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Cleaning service and seating areas.
- Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers.
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.
- Adhering to all food safety regulations and quality controls.
- Updating signage and displays to attract customers.
- Packaging food and beverages for sale.
Barista Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service is an asset.
- Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work around peak hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
- A polite, engaging personality.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- A self motivated and ‘can do’ attitude
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
