About us
We are a local coffee shop based just next to the old Cults railway station in Aberdeenshire, directly off of the Deeside Railway Line walking path. From our renovated shipping container we serve the finest coffee, hot food and tasty treats to our local clientele including families, cyclists and dog walkers. Our yard features a newly installed covered seating area for customers to enjoy their visit no matter the time of year.

*Do you love making coffee, chatting with customers and being around dogs? We're the place for you!* Boxcar Coffee and Yard was established in 2020 and has been providing delicious fresh bakes, food and coffee ever since. We are looking for a new member of our team to work 5 of 7 days a week (including weekends) in our 'box'. *Job Responsibilities include:* - ensuring high levels of cleanliness within and around the Boxcar. - ability to make barista level drinks (such as latte, cappuccino etc.) - food preparation experience is preferable but not required as we are happy to train staff. - friendly and approachable personality. - previous experience in a cusomer-facing position is preferrable. - able to upsell products and encourage the use of loyalty cards. - attention to detail, particularly allergens. *Sounds like the role for you?* Please get in touch with our manager Susan Smith. _\*Staff perks include a discount on food and free coffee while on shift, and a staff discount on all items when visiting off-shift.
