What We’re Looking For:
A Barista at Amelia’s is a wizard at preparing coffee and nonalcoholic drinks while providing a memorable experience for all guests. You must have the ability to provide excellent customer service, professional behavior, and positive energy to create a fun environment that encourages guests to come back for more. To succeed as a barista, you have an engaging personality and are efficient, observant, and are deeply knowledgeable about coffee, with the ability to work well under pressure.
What you’ll do:
You are responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, greeting guests, creating relationships with repeat guests, learning their drink preferences, running food, and handling the coffee and beverage opening and closing procedures. In addition, you collaborate with managers to complete pre and post-shift duties and are a supportive team member to all staff.
Recommended Experience:
2+ years of experience working as a Barista.
You can produce latte art.
You bring energy, rigor, and curiosity to the role and use skills in multitasking, problem-solving, and a high degree of organization.
You have experience in working in demanding and fast-paced environments.
You can deliver coffee and other beverages quickly and efficiently while maintaining consistency.
You have a SafeServe certificate.
You are a team player that is flexible and reliable with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
You have experience in Toast or other hospitality-driven technologies.
