Job description
We are looking for a Cafe All Rounder/Barista to join our team on a part time basis at Cobbs cafe located within Sterling Home in Aberdeen. This job is to cover following shifts: Tuesdays 9:30-5:30, Thursdays 12-5:30, Fridays 12-5:30 and Saturdays 12-5:30. Extra shifts are available.
Responsibilities you would take on include -
- Working the till and greeting customers, providing them with the best and most friendly service possible
- Making hot drinks and sandwiches/paninis efficiently and to a high standards
- Clearing tables and turning around dishes
- Being a team player and helping colleagues where possible
- Ensuring that the cafe is properly cleaned throughout the closing routine
You would need to be able to work in a fast paced environment and hold a general high standard for both yourself and the café whilst doing so, as well as being a reliable and friendly team player who can provide a fantastic customer service experience.
We are looking for someone who can adhere to this and is also -
- Experienced in working within customer service and handling money
- Experienced in making espresso based drinks (preferred)
- Have a basic knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety
- Great at communicating
- Flexible
- Dedicated
Whilst on shift you will get a paid break, free lunch and free hot drinks. Working with us will also provide you discount across other Cobbs establishments.
