GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The receptionist is responsible for representing 24 Carrots as the first point of contact with our clients, visitors, and employees, answering a multi-line phone system, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized entrance area, and assisting in various administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General
- Uphold the high standards of 24 Carrots’ handbook and policies.
- Represent and uphold the 24 Carrots core values: Trustworthiness, Collaboration, Service Excellence and Dedication.
- Greet clients as they arrive with a positive and helpful attitude and communicate with the team that their appointments are ready.
- Answer phones in a professional manner and routing calls as necessary. Screening phone calls as necessary.
- Successfully order and guarantee inventory for all office and break room supplies
- Manage breakroom and supply room and ensure all goods remain completely stocked and organized.
- Manage and distribute tasting evaluations following each scheduled tasting.
- Various administrative tasks as assigned by the office team.
- Work with a sense of urgency and duty to actively complete work assignments with detail, accuracy, and focus.
Human Resources
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
- Responsible for breaking down event binders on a daily basis and successfully distributing important event documents to each necessary department.
- Ensure event binders are consistently stocked with important HR policies and procedures, as well as ensuring these documents are current and up to date.
- Assist with individual timesheets as necessary and required by HR department.
- Identify, track, and reconcile missing in, out, and lunch punches.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Experience in working in a computer environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
LANGUAGE SKILLS
1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
2. Ability to write simple correspondence
3. Ability to effectively and courteously deal with the co‐workers and the general public
4. Ability to speak and understand English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

1. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but there will be cases where the noise level is loud to extremely loud.
3. This position occasionally requires work that exceeds 40 hours per week and occasionally requires flexibility to start shift earlier and end shift later with little to no notice.
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS
24 Carrots expects employees to dress appropriately in business casual attire. Business casual attire includes suits, pants, jackets, shirts, skirts and dresses that, while not formal, are appropriate for a business environment.
1. Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
2. Jeans are acceptable but should be in a clean/neat condition and without holes or stains. While jeans are acceptable at the office, they are not acceptable onsite at events or when participating in face to face meetings with clients.
3. Clothing with offensive or inappropriate designs are not permitted
4. Clothing should not be too revealing (No cleavage or short dresses/skirts/shorts)
5. Hair should be kept at a natural color, bright colors not permitted (For example: green, yellow, blue, pink, purple, etc.)
Conservative, simple and minimal makeup is encouraged.
7. Employees are allowed to have a neatly trimmed beard, mustache, or goatee that is no longer than 1cm.
8. Scented products such as fragrances, colognes, lotions, and powders that are perceptible to others should not be worn by employees.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
