Bar/Waiting Staff Lincoln, England

Cafe St Paul's
Full Time Lincoln, England 6.7 - 10.5 GBP HOURLY Today
Job description

We have recently opened Cafe St Paul's, a cafe bar serving a modern and innovative menu. In our previous incarnation we built up a loyal local following over more than 10 years. We are located in St Paul’s Lane in the Bailgate area of uphill Lincoln.

Great service as well as food and drinks are absolutely central to our business. We're open all day, every day, serving everything from coffee and breakfast in the morning to an international small plate menu with a modern selection of wines and draught beers in the evening.

We are looking for motivated individuals that have a real passion for hospitality and customer service to join our small team. Working closely with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for serving our customers and looking after our small but perfectly formed cafe bar.

You will have previous experience in dealing with the public and should have a good level of numeracy and literacy. You should also have a keen eye for detail and precision and will be expected to fit into our team, taking pride in your own work and the ongoing success of the business. We are looking for people with a "can do" positive attitude and are able to offer progression to more responsible roles for people that excel.

We are keen to motivate and support our team at all times and we love to work with people that have a positive, encouraging attitude coupled with the ability to deliver high quality customer service in a busy environment.

Our ideal candidates should have a minimum of 1 years customer service experience, ideally in a restaurant or bar setting. You will be accustomed to working as part of a team, serving food and drinks and maintaining a clean and tidy working environment. You must be able to speak and understand English to a high standard, even if it's not your first language. In return we offer competitive rates of pay, staff discounts and a forward thinking working environment. We are a modern business and love to experiment with new ideas.

If you think you have what it takes to be part of this exciting venture please get in touch. All applications will be considered and interviews will be arranged at the earliest opportunity. Please note that due to high levels of interest we will not always be able to reply personally to all applications but we always read every application.

To make your application stand out please include a covering letter and tell us a bit about yourself... it's personalities that create great working environments!
