BAR SUPERVISOR – ARCHIES BAR & KITCHEN, LEEDS
Ossett Brewery Taverns are looking to recruit a full time Bar Supervisor for their Granary Wharf site. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion and in-depth knowledge of our products; from our real ale to our craft range, cocktails and authentic wood-fired Pizza’s.

We would like you to share your knowledge with the team and guests alike in an informative and friendly manner. Enthusing the staff and enhancing the guest experience whilst also being confident and able to promote all our products.

The right candidate will have experience of delivering friendly, efficient customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our customers. To supervise, train and motivate others, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers

Duties include:

  • Delivery of excellent customer service, at all times
  • Addressing any staff training issues immediately.
  • To be knowledgeable and passionate about our product range
  • Serve and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards
  • Assist in keeping the bar, front-of-house and toilets clean and tidy, at all times
  • Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
  • Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
  • Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Deal with deliveries and report any loss or damages to the duty manager
  • Assist in keeping wastage to a minimum by the correct pouring and measurement of products
  • Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
  • Be involved and contribute at team meetings
  • Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office
  • Maintain safety and security of the premises and its customers at all times.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the pub
  • Assisting the Manager with the day to day running of the site
  • Creating a safe environment for staff & customers at all times.
  • To promote the business and the events in a professional manner
