Job description
The Spa Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will assist in the daily operations of food preparation and service.
Responsibilities
- Follows all safety guidelines and policies
- Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
- Ensures all food is prepared according to service orders and menus
- Follows prep and stock lists
- Ensures all equipment is clean and properly maintained
- Ensures all food products are stored properly and within the kitchen area
- Ensures all kitchen utensils are clean and sanitized
- Ensures all kitchen equipment is clean and properly maintained
- Performs other tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields preferred
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week
Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
