Job description

The Spa Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. The Kitchen Porter will assist in the daily operations of food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety guidelines and policies
• Maintains a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
• Ensures all food is prepared according to service orders and menus
• Follows prep and stock lists
• Ensures all equipment is clean and properly maintained
• Ensures all food products are stored properly and within the kitchen area
• Ensures all kitchen utensils are clean and sanitized
• Ensures all kitchen equipment is clean and properly maintained
• Performs other tasks as assigned by manager

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or other related fields preferred
• Strong attention to detail required
• Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with others

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

Salary: £8.00-£11.00 per hour
