Bar/Reception Manager - Crew Leader - MOXY Glasgow Merchant City
This position is based on a full time contract.
Gross Salary - £26000 per year
Confident communicator comfortable in a fast-paced service focused role.
Proactive problem solver and team player, who builds a fun environment that makes guests feel at home.
Main Tasks and responsibilities
- Providing the best service to maintain excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
- Improving service through communicating well with the team and assisting individuals to understand guest needs.
- Helping guests and creating positive experiences
- Managing guest payments accurately
- Managing hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out the Moxy way
- Supporting other Crew Members with Front Office training
- Promoting the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program
- Handling guest problem and complaints effectively
Other duties include:
- Helping the F&B department on shift when required
- Operating Food & Beverage the Moxy way
- Preparing food, maintaining clean, tidy, work area restocking, taking deliveries and organizing BOH areas
- Following all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies.
We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which is all of these things:

- Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
- Great motivator who can coach and support the team
Essential Experience:
- Minimum 2 year of Hospitality Experience
- Knowledge of Hotel Operating System Opera
- At least 1 year in a Managerial role
Useful Experience
- Knowledge of other hotel systems such Micros
- Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws
- Personal experience of travel and travel industry
