The Grand, York has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional beverage specialist to be part of our team through a new journey of growth and evolution. As York's only 5-star hotel this is a rare opportunity to showcase your talent on a stage set for a highly ambitious individual. You will be expected to drive and thrive within scope of the F&B operation, deliver memorable guest experiences and support your team on a journey of luxury and excellence.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding knowledge and skills within bar operations.
You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge around classical and modern cocktails and beverages, and the ability to perform consistently in luxury and fast paced environment.

As a Bar assistant, key to your role:
- Deliver an exceptional level of service through a relaxed and professional approach - checking in with guests at each course to ensure satisfaction
- Serving guests and providing them with excellent product knowledge
- Work as part of the team and help out your fellow team members where necessary
- Encourage the highest standards across all areas (customer service, hygiene, health and safety)
- Complete the bar opening and closing duties, and restock as required
- Show proefessionalism in both your appearance and demeanor at all times
