Cask Smugglers is a high volume, multi faceted, city centre bar in Edinburgh, located directly above Waverley Station. We have one of Edinburgh's largest outdoor spaces, The Secret Domes overlooking Edinburgh Castle, a stunning Mezzanine Wine Bar offering a personal drinking experience and a unique indoor cocktail bar demonstrating some of the best cocktails in the City.

Purpose of the Job
This role is responsible for providing a high standard of service to our guests, from welcoming them into the venue, to taking orders and serving food and drinks. The role will require you to work closely with the whole team for the entire venue to develop the experience and ensure a positive guest journey. The right candidate should possess strong product knowledge to offer well judged food and drink recommendations to our guests based on their personal preferences.
With our venue developing constantly, we are always on the lookout for those who want to progress and develop within the hospitality industry, and the scope for progression is huge! We have a full and established training programme for staff at all levels.

Experience and Training
The ideal candidate will have come from a previous hospitality or customer service background, working in high volume venues and be able to hit the ground running. All training will be provided. We will invest in various levels of training for this position, including individual FLOW training modules that are specific to the role as well as both in-house and external training and tastings. Throughout the year there are opportunities to go through additional training such as WSET certificates and personal licensing training for the right candidates.

Salary: £10.42-£11.00 per hour
