Job description
Runner Duck Wine Room, situated in Lancaster city centre, is looking for a part-time member of staff to join its small team. We are a cosy little independent bar specialising in good quality, interesting wine from around the world. We also have a small deli offering cheese and charcuterie boards.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, trustworthy individual to fill a part-time role that has become available. Main duties include serving on the bar, working on the floor and providing high levels of customer service. The role also involves a small amount of cold food handling and preparation.
Full training will be provided, however an interest and willingness to learn more about wine and confidence when interacting with customers are essential. Prior experience in a hospitality or customer facing role is also beneficial.
Typical working days will be Friday and Saturday evenings/nights, totalling approximately 15 hours a week. Availability on these days is essential. Due to the nature of this role, applicants must be 18 years or older.
