This is a casual role, with flexible hours . We work flexibly across the week with hours to suit your needs. Sense is offering you an hourly rate of £10.75.
As a Relief/Casual Support Worker/ Communicator Guides you will join our fantastic Community Service located across South Wales in particular Swansea, Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend.
The service hours are between Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm occasional evening and weekends may be required. We are able to be flexible with shifts so would love to discuss your options and hear from you!
Our fantastic Community Service, supports over 50 clients with sensory impairments to maintain independence and carry out activities that are important to them. You will work alongside a manager and a dedicated team at Sense to provide support which can include helping clients with their weekly shopping, taking exercise or attending local groups.
You may have cared for a family member in the past, and felt the reward? Or be a genuinely caring person looking to help positively impact an Individual's life? This role could suit someone with a young family or a semi-retired person.
A driving license and use of your own car is essential to be able to transport clients to activities to maintain independence. BSL skills would be desirable to be able to communicate with clients who are deaf. We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
