Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking to recruit 2 female* trainee assistant practitioners to work in the Breast Unit at the Royal and Aintree. Also to work in Breast Screening at Broadgreen and on the mobile units across 12 sites in Sefton and Knowsley.
The role will require the successful candidate to undertake the Manchester Mammography Associate Apprenticeship Level 4. Mammography Associates (Assistant Practitioners) work within the NHS Breast Screening Programme (NHBSP) and Symptomatic Services undertaking routine 2-view mammography, producing images of consistently high quality to meet rigorous NHBSP standards.
The Trust is looking for highly motivated, competent and enthusiastic individuals with strong communication skills as this is a challenging but rewarding programme.
The training combines and integrates both academic and practice-based learning through close collaboration with the Trust and National Breast Imaging Academy.
